Scope of the project
Reduce the friction caused when we redirect the user to our Account Aggregator (AA) partner (OneMoney).
Address the confusion caused due to multiple OTPs (One Time Passwords) sent to the user.
Improve usage of the call to action button used to select and register with an AA of choice.
Streamline the flow to add multiple bank accounts during the bank upload process.
Educate the users about the wait time required while the back end fetches the bank statements.
Design & Development
First draft
Iterations were based on user insights through user feedback and also through HotJar and WebEngage for analytics and heat maps.
Proposed solutions
Recommended banks - Users who directly tap on the search field, would be nudged again to select recommended banks.
Using UI components familiar to the user.

The Results
It's always a pleasure when the designs are showcased, here with Account Aggregator being a very new concept in the Indian Market. The designs were showcased in a presentation by Sahamati, which is a group created to bring all the AAs together and published by REBIT which is a subsidiary of the RBI. iSPIRT hosted a virtual launch of the industry-wide Account Aggregator (AA) ecosystem on September 2, 2021. The event announced the major financial institutions that have gone live and demonstrates the powerful use cases of AA. It is a major milestone for the AA framework for consented data access and sharing in the financial sector.
